On His Terms

What happens when God doesn’t work the way we expect? Throughout Matthew 12, the religious leaders witness Jesus’ power and hear His teaching, yet continue to resist Him because He doesn’t fit their expectations. Jesus challenges their demands for proof, exposes the limitations of outward religious reform, and reveals what it truly means to belong to His family.
In this message, we’ll discover that recognizing Jesus for who He is means receiving Him on His terms, not ours. Following Jesus requires more than getting the answers we want. It means learning to trust and obey Him, even when His ways challenge our expectations.
